The moral seems to be, given a viable choice, I always end up doing exactly what I want to do.

I have just sent off in the post:

1) A thank-you card to Powell Spencer & Partners stating that my week with them helped me decide to do law.

2) A letter to Hywel (my father) which, among other things, requested him to contribute to the "Bronwen becomes a lawyer" fund.

I think the decision is firmly made. Mum, you can exhale!

I'm sorry, dear patient friends list, but I'm probably going to whine about this decision on and off until the end of the month when I will, theoretically at least, have made it!

( Is making a good decision for the wrong reasons a bad thing? )

OK, there seems to be some feeling that my last entry was a cliffhanger. For the record, I pressed "Update" on the entry, then instantly switched windows and pressed "Send" on the email. It did take an effort.

Would everyone stop telling me I'm brave, it's making me even more scared because it's making me feel like I *should* be scared!
